The magazine currently releases one issue a year. Sample copies are $6 (Institutions, $8). Make CHECKS PAYABLE to The Pennsylvania State University. Larger donations from individuals or corporations can be tax deductible.

Lake Effect is currently looking for donations to help build its endowment fund so it can become a semi-annual (twice yearly) journal. As of August 2006, we have $25,000 in the endowment fund. We need about $35,000 to $40,000 more to be able to move to publishing twice a year.
