Women's Water Polo Competes in Second Day of Behrend Invitational

The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team played two games on Saturday in the annual Behrend Invitational.  Behrend lost the early game against Colorado 14-8.  Brittany Yost (Pottsville/Pottsville) and Alex Taylor (Zieglerville/North Penn) led the blue and white with two goals each on ten shots and six shots respectively.  Yost also added two assists.

In the second game of the day Behrend came up short once again, losing to St. Francis 15-6.  Amanda Weist (Arlington Hts., IL/Buffalo Grove) scored two goals on five shots and dished out two assists.

The blue and white will meet Carthage on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and Iona at 2:15 p.m. to close out the Behrend Invitational.

Behrend will travel to Gannon on March 22 and then participate in the Grove City Tournament on March 24 and 25.  The women will not be back in action at the Junker Center until March 29 when they will face Grove City College.
