Amy Oldach Named the Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week
Sophomore
guard Amy Oldach (Erie/Villa Maria) has been named the Enterprise RENT-A-CAR
Athlete of the Week for the week of December 01, 2008.
Oldach led the Behrend Lions offense dishing out three assists in a 77-82 loss to the Fredonia State Blue Devils. She also tallied 18 points against the Blue Devils to lead the team. Oldach began the season earning a place on the Behrend Tip-Off all tournament team. Oldach leads the team with 3.7 assists per game and is third on the team with eight steals and 13.7 points per game respectively.
The blue and white will open AMCC play on Wednesday, December 3 starting at 6:00 p.m. on the Junker Center hardwood. The matchup with the Mt. Aloysius Mounties will be televised on Image Sports in the Erie area. Behrend enters the game with a 1-2 record while the Mounties are 0-3 on the year. The Behrend Lions will continue league play on Saturday, December 6 at Frostburg State.
