Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week

Natalie Engel (McDonald/Fort Cherry)
has been named the Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the week for the
week of December 15, 2008.
Engel led the blue and white to a split of conference games.
Engel led all scores in a ten point loss to Allegheny scoring 20
points. She would then go on to have a solid game against
conference foe Hilbert. Engel would score 14 points, have four
assists, and recorded four steals on the night. Engel would finish out
the week with 13 point, two assists night as the Behrend Lions take
a 79-64 loss to conference leader Pitt-Greensburg. Engel
averaged 15.7 ppg, 2.3 apg, and 1.3 steals a game over the week.
The blue and white are off until after the new year. The squad will
return from winter break to play three straight on the road,
starting with a 6:00 p.m. January 5 contest at Grove City. The
blue and white will be back in the Junker Center on January 14 when
they take on conference opponent Medaille.
