CMC maintains a large inventory of audiovisual equipment in support of academic and related programs. Faculty and staff may sign-out this equipment for use in conjunction with projects. When appropriate, equipment will be delivered to the classroom, set-up and returned to CMC by a staff member. We encourage faculty members to submit a list of equipment in advance for the entire semester.
CMC will make every effort to satisfy your requests; however we ask 24 hours advance notice to ensure that your request can be accommodated.
Equipment requests can be made 24-7 by calling the Equipment Request Line at x6286 or through the online Equipment Request Form. Please complete all applicable fields on the form.
Equipment Malfunctions
All CMC equipment undergoes routine maintenance but problems occasionally occur.
To report equipment malfunctions requiring immediate attention call x6121 or call x6116 for non-immediate repairs. Please be sure to state the location and nature of the problem. Every effort will be made to restore normal operations or replace the defective equipment.
Equipment Training
Proper operation of audiovisual equipment ensures a better presentation. CMC has qualified staff to familiarize you with the use of equipment and in the operation of technology classrooms. Equipment orientation sessions are conducted at the beginning and middle of semesters. One-on-one training sessions may be scheduled at any time by calling x6121.
