Resources for Java Applets and Javascript

Java applets and Javascript may be added to your web pages to create special effects.  This page provides links to sites that have:

• Information on how to program using these languages

• Links to other Java/Javascript resources

• Free Java/Javascript applications that may be used in your web pages

Many sites provide free Java/Javascript programs for free as long as the resources are not being used commercially or for profit.  Other sites will allow you to use the resources as long as you provide a link back to their home page. Be aware that some programs may be copyrighted. Do not use any copyrighted resources unless you receive permission from the original author.  And always read the site's policy concerning the use and restrictions for using their resources.
