2008 Council of Fellows Excellence in Teaching Award

Instructions for Submission of Nominations

Purpose:  The Penn State Behrend Council of Fellows Excellence in Teaching Award was established in May 1969 to recognize that faculty member who in the opinion of students, alumni, and colleagues most truly fills the role of an effective teacher. The award was first presented in 1970.

Eligibility:  Any faculty member who has completed two years or more (at least four semesters) of continuous undergraduate teaching at Penn State Behrend as of the judging date is eligible.  Previous recipients are ineligible for a period of one year.  Last year's winner was Mr. Brian Young.

Selection Procedure:  The Undergraduate Studies Committee will select the award recipient from among all nominees.

Instructions:  Nominations must be submitted to the Chancellor's Office by March 19, 2008.  Please use the online nomination form to submit all nominations.

  • Any member of the student body, faculty, alumni, administration, or an officially chartered student organization of the College may nominate someone for the award.
