The Polymer Engineering and Science program at Penn State Behrend prepares you to analyze and design polymers—the versatile materials that make up our world. You’ll learn to analyze the character and structure of materials, and then use that knowledge to design innovative new products.
The Women in Engineering day program at Penn State Behrend features a series of hands-on workshops, including scale-model pipelines, lava lamps and LED flowers.
In the Plastics Engineering Technology program at Penn State Behrend, you’ll learn not only about plastics materials but also how to design and produce plastic components and products. Most PLET students also gain real-world experience by working with industry partners on a capstone project.
Penn State Behrend's 2022 "Women in Engineering Day" program was held on November 18, 2022. Women in Engineering Day is an outreach program for 10th- and 11th-grade students held every November.
