Aimee Pogson is an associate teaching professor in creative writing and English. She received a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Penn State Behrend in 2006 and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University in 2009. Her work has appeared in Lake Effect, the Berkeley Fiction Review, and PANK. Her essay, “The Dance I Danced for You,” was shortlisted for Best American Essays 2006 and her short story, “Unnatural,” was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. In addition to teaching, she also works as an editor at Lake Effect.
