Engineering K-12: Outreach Programs

Engineering K-12 ProgramsSpecialized Programs:

(Held on the Penn State Behrend Campus or provided at your location.)

  • Project-based activities such as design, electricity, pulleys, mechanical advantage, packaging, and building circuits to name a few are available.
  • Flexible scheduling - from one hour to a full day of programming.
  • Tours of the engineering facilities or the entire campus and lunch can be included.

Engineering K-12 Outreach Center has provided programming for:

  • After school programs
  • Clubs and organization
  • Cub Scouts
  • Girl Scouts
  • Home school groups
  • Summer camps
  • WQLN Jump Back to School
  • 21st  Century Kids
  • PEPP (Penn State Educational Partnership Program)
  • Talent Search
  • Upward  Bound

All programs are free but donations are accepted to help with the cost of supplies and equipment.  

We do ask groups to cover the cost of lunch.
