Resources for Parents

Resources for Parents

CORE’s goal is to improve school culture and safety for your children. We believe that parents are a vital resource in helping schools to resolve peer aggression and promote resiliency.

We offer educational seminars to parents, Parent-Teacher Organizations, and community groups. These presentations will feature Dr. Charisse Nixon, or one or our staff members, and can be tailored to your group’s individual needs.

Topics can include the following:

  • Coping strategies for relational and physical aggression
  • Internet safety and cyberbullying
  • Typical online activities of children
  • How parents can partner with their children and their schools in an effort decrease peer victimization.

Our seminars are presented in an easy-to-understand manner and are focused on practical, concrete knowledge.
