The Rhythms of Life Series is a vibrant succession of cultural performances providing hours of lively and interesting entertainment to the campus community. The performances in this series give true meaning to the word "diverse" as they feature a variety of music, dance, and storytelling from all regions of the world. Past performers include Native Nations Dance Theatre, Tai Yim's Dragon & Lion Chinese Dancers, Rhythms and Blues, Rakish Paddy’s Irish music, Indian Sitar and Tabla, Caribbean Steel Drum/Pan music, Mariachis, Japanese Taiko Drums, and much more!

YARINA (which means "remembrance"in the native Quichua language of the Incas) has since 1984, been dedicated not only to musical excellence, but also to the preservation and sharing of the beauty, courage and survival of the ancestral traditions and culture of the indigenous peoples of the Andes. Their wholehearted and passionate dedication to musicianship, excellence and cultural expression has earned them the honor of being named "Ambassadors for Indigenous Ecuadorial Performers" by the Department of Culture, Quito, Ecuador
