Campus Ministry provides worship opportunities, religious education, and a variety of activities designed to foster spiritual as well as intellectual growth in an ecumenical setting. Programs and services include ecumenical services, retreats, film discussions, Bible studies, speakers, special events, service projects, a Listening Post, counseling, and help in time of need. Campus Ministry programs and services are available to the entire college community.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to serve on the Catholic Campus Ministry Board, the Protestant Campus Ministry Board, and the Religious Affairs Council. Students are invited to join the Behrend Newman Association, the Behrend Knights, Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, and Jewish Organization.

Campus Ministry sponsors a Roman Catholic Eucharistic Liturgy and an Interdenominational Protestant Service each Sunday and Holy Day during the academic year. The staff provides information about area churches and synagogues and can arrange transportation to area services.

The Campus Ministry program is housed in the beautiful, multi-faith Larry and Kathryn Smith Chapel and the Floyd and Juanita Smith Carillon (depicted above). This new facility, a gift of the Smith family, provides an inspirational space on campus devoted to enriching the spiritual lives of students.
