Personal Counseling

Feeling stressed?  Having problems?

Like many students, you may encounter a great deal of stress during your college years --- whether it be academic, social, family, work, financial, etc. While most cope successfully with the demands of college life, for some, the pressures can become overwhelming and unmanageable. You may feel alone, isolated, helpless and even hopeless. These feelings can easily disrupt your academic performance and may result in harmful behaviors such as substance abuse and attempts at suicide.

So if you're feeling stressed or having problems, we can help.  We offer the following services to currently enrolled students:

  • Individual counseling
  • Psychiatric Services
  • Crisis intervention
  • Community Referrals
  • Support groups
  • Programs on topics of well-being
  • Confidential and free services
  • Plus much more!

Diversity

The Personal Counseling office welcomes all students.  We embrace diversity and the inclusiveness of individuals regardless of their gender, race, sexual orientation, cultural and religious backgrounds, and abilities.  We are also committed to helping all students deal with discrimination and identity issues.
