IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING FIG GROUPS FOR FALL 2009:

ENROLLMENT IN FRESHMAN INTEREST GROUPS WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2009.

IF YOU PLAN TO LIVE ON CAMPUS AND WISH TO LIVE IN SENAT HALL, YOU NEED TO MAKE SENAT HALL YOUR FIRST CHOICE ON YOUR HOUSING CONTRACT AND MARK IT ON YOUR FIG ENROLLMENT FORM. (This does not guarantee you will be placed in Senat Hall, but you must request Senat Hall if you want to be considered for housing there.  The decision as to who is placed in Senat Hall will be by lottery and not be made until May of 2009. Students

The Vision of the Freshman Interest Groups (FIG) program is to support new students in their transition to the College by providing an engaging, high quality first-year program that results in the retention of our first-year students.

The Mission of the FIG program is to support new students in their transition to the College through a comprehensive and integrated program that promotes the exploration of an academic interest, encourages interpersonal connections between students, faculty, and staff, and introduces students to campus resources for student success.
