Still in its alpha test stage, Professor Nittany is a question-answering chatbot designed to help students with World Campus advising questions. The concept was first developed by Meng Su, associate professor of computer science and software engineering, and a team of students at Penn State Behrend.

Penn State Behrend computer science program earns ABET accreditation

The computer science program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, has been accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. The program is the first computer science program at Penn State to be accredited.
