Arthur Wang Wins 2016 Kopp Award

A Penn State Behrend teaching assistant who works with international students has been awarded the 2016 LaMarr Kopp International Achievement Award. The University-wide honor recognizes undergraduate students who have contributed significantly to the advancement of the international mission of Penn State.

Former President Clinton Campaigns in Erie Hall

Former President Bill Clinton looked a bit older than he did in 2008, when he last visited Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He clearly felt it, too.

“For most of my life, I was the youngest person doing whatever I was doing,” he said during an April 8 campaign stop in Erie Hall. “Then, one day, just like that, I was the oldest one in the room.”

College to Begin Construction of $25M Residence Hall

Penn State Behrend will begin construction of a $25 million, 250-bed residence hall in the spring of 2017. The building, which will be located near Ohio Hall, at the southwest corner of campus, is scheduled to open at the start of the fall 2018 semester.
