Tiffany Beers '02 is a pioneering engineer and innovator known for breaking barriers across footwear, consumer electronics, and sustainability. She received a bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from Penn State Behrend and began her career at Newell Rubbermaid, before joining Nike in 2004.
At Nike, she spent over a decade transforming futuristic ideas into reality as a Senior Innovator in the Innovation Kitchen, leading the development of iconic projects like the Nike Mag with power laces, the HyperAdapt 1.0, the Air Yeezy and the Air Jordan 29—some of the world’s most advanced sneakers.
In 2017, she joined Tesla as a Staff Technical Program Manager, focusing on the installation and startup of heavily automated manufacturing systems. She then transitioned to Logitech for seven years as Head of Audio Engineering for Gaming—a new domain for her. Despite no formal audio background, she quickly built and led teams that delivered industry-defining products such as the Logitech G PRO headset, Astro A50, G733, and the Aurora Collection, which emphasizes inclusivity and gender representation. Her cross-functional leadership success led her to an expanded role at Logitech leading three global engineering teams—mechanical engineering, materials, and sustainable engineering.
Beers also played a key role in launching Saysh, the women’s footwear brand founded by Olympic champion Allyson Felix, including the Olympic-winning track spike Felix wore at the Tokyo Games. Beers appears in the 2025 documentary She Runs the World, chronicling Felix’s mission to transform sports and business for women and girls.
A sought-after mentor and speaker, Tiffany has been featured in Wired, The New York Times, Abstract: The Art of Design on Netflix, and Sneakers magazine. She inspires the next generation of engineers through curiosity, courage, and grit.
