Penn State Behrend will host two in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 8.

Penn State Behrend will host two in-person commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 8, at the Behrend soccer stadium. Graduates of the Black School of Business and the School of Science will be honored beginning at 10 a.m.; graduates of the School of Engineering and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences will be honored beginning at 3 p.m.

A total of 669 degrees will be awarded. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place during each program.

All graduates and guests must have tickets to enter the stadium. Facemasks and physical distancing will be required. Details are at our commencement page.

Both programs will be livestreamed. Links will be available at our commencement page. Penn State also will offer a University-wide virtual ceremony for all students Sunday, May 9, at 6 p.m. That program, which will include personalized content for all Behrend graduates, can be viewed at virtual.commencement.psu.edu.

“Commencement is an important milestone for our students, their families and the entire Penn State Behrend community,” Chancellor Ralph Ford said. “Throughout the pandemic, our students have done their part to physically distance and adapt so many aspects of the traditional college experience. We are excited to celebrate their academic accomplishments and commitment to their education together, in-person, as a community.”
