  • Robin Ann Wasko Jones ’94 (Behrend 1990-92) lives in Westmoreland City with her husband, Michael, and son Scott, 15. Robin writes, “I’ve had severe health problems since Scott’s birth and had to retire from my job as a project manager in 2007. I have many wonderful memories of Behrend, especially of the late (academic support programs coordinator) Mari Trenkle, who I still miss. I’m hopeful that my son will go to Behrend in a few years!” [email protected]

  • Mary Glance ’06 M.B.A. has been named executive director of human resources at Middlesex Community College, one of the largest community colleges in Massachusetts.
  • Eric Brotherson ’08 was promoted to director of business intelligence at Erie Federal Credit Union. He also is a member of the advisory board for the MIS degree program.
  • Nathan Laird ’08, ’09 M.B.A. left health care magazine publisher Merion Matters to join Penn State’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions as a CRM campaign configuration specialist. [email protected]

  • Casey Fye Hedlund ’11, a senior scientist at LORD Corporation in Erie, was honored with a 2017 Women in Manufacturing STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production) Award from STEP Ahead, a national initiative to promote the role of women in manufacturing.

  • Brandt Ruszkiewicz ’15, a doctoral student at Clemson University and graduate research assistant in its International Center for Automotive Research, has been awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation, a program that recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in STEM fields. NSF received more than 13,000 applications for this year’s fellowship competition.
