WEC hosted a panel discussion “What is Leadership and How do I obtain it?,” which was moderated by Britt Daehnke, at Behrend's Student Leadership Conference at the Bayfront Convention Center in February of 2024.
Panelists were Barb Byers ’87, director of content development at University at Buffalo office of donor and alumni communications; Carol MacPhail, an associate professor of accounting and finance at Robert Morris University and a retired partner at Deloitte in Pittsburgh; and Sarah Garnica-Saldana ’21, a financial advisor at HBKS Wealth Advisors in Erie.

Penn State Behrend’s swimming and diving teams won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships in Rochester, New York. The women’s team also won the Allegheny-Empire Championship.
