“Women often give a lot to a lot of different people in their lives,” said Heather Cass, the publications manger at Behrend and the organizer of the Run for Women. “This is something they can do for themselves.”
Penn State Behrend’s second annual Run for Women included a 3.1-mile loop of the college’s Knowledge Park. A total of 180 people registered for the event.

Waka Flocka Flame, who headlined the Welcome Week concert at Penn State Behrend, is best known for the songs "Hard in Da Paint," "No Hands" and "O Let's Do It." He has recorded with Drake, Gucci Mane and Slim Dunkin.
