Penn State Behrend’s 2016 Faculty Awards were presented this month during the college’s first Faculty Senate meeting of the semester.
Jason Bennett, associate professor of chemistry, received the Council of Fellows Faculty Research Award, which recognizes faculty members who, in the opinion of their peers, truly fill the role of inspired, dedicated researchers.

The Class of 2020 consists of 1,280 students, including a record 212 international students from 26 countries. Navigating an independent life for the first time is no easy task, but many students brought a token from home along with them to help ease the transition.
