Andy Herrera, M.Ed.L.

Andy is one of the college’s most seasoned and dynamic administrators. He has been with the college for over ten years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature and History and a Master of Science degree in Education Law.

Andy has been recognized for his professionalism and expertise on student leadership development, organization advising, and personable style, being the recipient of numerous awards, including the Most Outstanding Student Organization Advisor Award in 2004, 2006, and 2023; the Benjamin A. Lane Outstanding Service Award; the University’s Vice-President Award for Outstanding Program; and the W. LaMarr Kropp Award for contributions to international understanding, among others. He is also held in high esteem for his cultural diversity and educational programming.

Andy’s research interest focuses on cases that led to civil rights laws. He enjoys rooting for the Nittany Lions on Saturdays, traveling, and learning about different cultures.
