    Biography

    Dr. Cho received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa in the field of signal processing. After that, he extended his research topics from signal processing to machine learning and optimal control through postdoc experience at Ohio State University (OSU), Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and North Carolina State University (NCSU). He also has four and half years of industry experience, especially at Flash memory circuit design. From his professional specialty and industry experience, he has been conducting his research and teaching at Penn State Behrend from Fall 2019.

    Large-scale optimization problems with structural information: super-resolution, sparse signal processing, hypothesis testing, distributed machine learning, and optimal control on networks
