A Regional Common In-Service Day for high school teachers and guidance counselors was held at Penn State Behrend on October 12, 2015.
The program included workshops that outlined college majors and careers in the STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) areas and educators received Act 48 credits.
Focus panel discussions were presented during the day. The panels included topics such as math preparedness for college, what industry is looking for in graduates, and how college will prepare you for a career.
