My Doll and Me

Embark on a summer adventure full of fun with your favorite 18" doll (American Girl or similar). Create accessories like sandals, slippers, leggings, backpacks and more for your doll to attend CFK, slumber parties, camping trips, school and other events. We'll even design a bedroom setting for your doll. The best part of this adventure is your doll can come with you!

Backyard Camp Out

Ready for a week of "camp"? Have fun hiking, making a tent, gathering firewood and creating camp crafts. Students will spend the week outdoors (weather permitting). A day in the water, a cook out, and a 'night' experience in the planetarium are also planned!

Slimy Science

Explore scientific principles while making slime, designing a bubble blower, making ice cream, investigating with soda and vinegar, and many more hands-on slimy experiments.

Acting for the Stage 1

Learn the art of Narrative Pantomime, how to take stage direction, how to develop character, projection, stage presence and techniques for memorizing lines. All the skills young actors need to gain familiarity with a future in performing arts. The week long session will culminate in a performance for friends and family.

Young People's Chorus of Erie Camp NEW

Penn State Behrend's Young People’s Chorus camp will focus on developing singers’ voices through interactive workshops and expert instruction. The week includes fast-paced choral rehearsals and age-appropriate music theory classes geared toward beginning/intermediate singers and those new to singing in a choir.

Journey to the Art of Drawing

Experience the wonders of drawing. Throughout class, students will learn the basics of shading, texture and primitive perspective. Participants will use these techniques to draw new animals, people and landscapes.

Under the Sea

Future marine biologists welcome! Join in the fun as we investigate the ocean and some of the life it supports. Deepen your scientific knowledge of ocean habitats through a variety of activities as we embark on a trip to a new destination. Work in teams and participate in a variety of hands on learning opportunities and art projects as we explore life under the sea.

Outdoor Sports and Games will provide opportunity to get outside, learn new sports, practice good sportsmanship, develop new skills, including problem solving, and so much more! This class is designed for both boys and girls.
