Once Thanksgiving passes, there’s only one thing on everyone’s mind: the holidays.
So what better way to ring in the season than by joining the Choirs of Penn State Behrend and the Young People’s Chorus of Erie for a sing-along?
The fifth annual Holiday Sing-Along will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in the McGarvey Commons of the Reed Union Building at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. The community is invited to join the Behrend Chamber Singers and Concert Choir and YPC Erie in performing traditional wintertide and holiday carols.
“The first day back after Thanksgiving break is always tough, especially with finals looming, so we like the sing-along to be a light-hearted, festive celebration that we can share as a Behrend community,” said Gabrielle Dietrich, assistant teaching professor of music and director of choral ensembles at the college.
The concert is free and open to the public, and cookies and cider will follow the performance. For additional information, contact Dietrich at 814-898-6636.
