ERIE, Pa. — Penn State Behrend’s basketball teams continued their seasons through the winter semester break. The women’s team was 2-1, with wins over Hiram and Bluffton. The men’s team was 1-2, with a win over Hiram.
Here are the scores and highlights:
Men’s basketball
- Penn State Behrend 72, Hiram 62
- Brockport 61, Penn State Behrend 60
- Buffalo 92, Penn State Behrend 63
Jacob Dunkle, a freshman from Washington, scored a season-best 26 points against Hiram. He also grabbed seven rebounds. Mason Blankenberg, a senior from Ontario, New York, scored 15 points and had three steals.
Women’s basketball
- Baldwin Wallace 69, Penn State Behrend 58
- Penn State Behrend 80, Hiram 71
- Penn State Behrend 60, Bluffton 51
Morgan Altavilla, a senior from Pittsburgh, scored 20 points against Hiram. Alaina Fabin, a sophomore from Indiana, scored a team-best 18 points against Bluffton.
The teams host Pitt-Greensburg on Jan. 7 and Mt. Aloysius on Jan. 10.
