Percussion group to continue Rhythms of Life Series at Penn State Behrend

Tony Vacca traveled to West Africa 14 times to learn how to play the balafon, a wooden xylophone with 21 keys. On Oct. 19, he'll bring it to Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, for a free Rhythms of Life Series concert.

Penn State Behrend student's interest in diversity flourishes on campus

Because of her heritage and previous life experiences, Wenrui Cai, who is of Chinese descent but was raised in Milan, Italy, has always been interested in interacting with diverse populations. That’s exactly what she has done at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, where she recently completed her sophomore year.
