As part of the embedded course NURS 499: Foreign Study, 13 students from Penn State Behrend, University Park and Hershey traveled to Havana, Cuba, to tour several health clinics and learn about the Cuban health care delivery system.

Safari trips highlight Behrend student's field research in Tanzania

Penn State Behrend senior Allyson Maloney spent the fall semester in Tanzania, studying butterflies and the impact of elephant herds in Tarangire Natonal Park. "It's hard to believe how beautiful one place can be," she says.
