The May 28 episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" on TLC featured Joseph Beilein, right, professor of history at Penn State Behrend. He helped the actress Megan Mullally trace her family's story through the Civil War.

The Behrend Medallion -- Penn State Behrend's foremost recognition of an individual who has brought honor to his or her profession and community -- was presented on May 23 to Thomas B. A May 1 ribbon-cutting ceremony formally opened the $1 million HERO BX biodiesel lab at Penn State Behrend. Undergraduate students will work with HERO BX chemists to reduce the sulfur content in biodiesel feedstocks.

Siblings set records in Behrend pool

A Watterson has been in the water for Penn State Behrend in each of the past 10 swim seasons. "Swimming definitely helped us build a bond," says Liam, the youngest.
