International Initiatives

  • Embedded Courses
The LRC provides administrative support for faculty teaching courses with an overseas field trip.

  • Recruitment
We advertise embedded courses in weekly information sessions, in First-Year Seminars, on our electronic signage, and by posting course brochures on our website and hard copies in the LRC.

  • Risk Management
We ensure completion of required documentation and compliance with University policies.

  • Scholarships
Global Programs offers travel grants to faculty for a variety of internationalization activities, including developing new embedded courses. Need-based student scholarships are available through the college and global programs. Developing an embedded course requires approval by the program chair, school director and academic dean. For more information, contact the LRC.

  • Program Development
We assist in the development of international exchanges, internship exchanges, articulation agreements, and grant administration. We manage all aspects of program operation, including monitoring exchange balances and student support.

  • The Fulbright Program
The LRC is the contact for Fulbright Program information for faculty and students.
