The best way to learn about a college is to visit the campus. Penn State Behrend offers several ways for you to check out our beautiful campus any time of year. For information on getting to campus, places to stay while you're here, and Erie, Pa., check out the links at left. If you visit us before you apply for admission we will waive your $65 application fee. Unfortunately, we can’t refund any fees that you’ve already paid.

Individual Appointments

Individual appointments with an admissions counselor can be scheduled for Monday through Friday throughout the year. The appointment will include a campus tour with a current student. High school students interested in meeting individually with a financial aid representative or faculty member should call our office to schedule at 814-898-6100 or email Behrend Admissions. Students interested in meeting with an athletic coach should contact the coach directly to schedule an appointment. Prospective athletes can fill out a form online or contact our Athletics Office at 814-898-6163. 

Transfer and Adult Appointments

Individual appointments with an admissions counselor can be scheduled for Monday through Friday throughout the year. Schedule by calling our office at 814-898-6100 or online. Additional appointments with financial aid, the veteran's benefits coordinator, or the Office of Adult Learner Services may be scheduled by calling our office at 814-898-6100.

Spend a Summer Day or Evening

See the campus at one of our informal-yet informative summer events. Your visit includes an Information Fair, presentations on admissions, financial aid, and academics, and a campus walking tour. End the day with scoops of Penn State’s crazy-famous Berkey Creamery ice cream!

Get to Know Us

Just starting your college search? Never visited our campus before? Get to Know Us by attending this general information session and a campus tour. During the academic year, these sessions are offered on select Fridays and school holidays. The visit includes a presentation given by an admissions counselor and a campus tour given by one of our current student. If you'd like to try the food on campus, lunch is on us! Stop by the Admission Office for a free dining hall pass either before or after your visit.

Blue and White Days

These accepted student programs offer the opportunity for students and parents to get the information most important to them. Learn about your next steps, financial aid and academics. A panel of current students will be available to answer your questions about student life. Campus tours and lunch with faculty will also be included. Blue and White Days typically are scheduled on Fridays between January and April.

Transfer Day

Thinking about transferring? Sometimes, it’s a matter of wanting an academic program your school doesn’t offer. Other times, it can simply be that the school you’re attending doesn’t feel like the right fit for you. No matter what reason you might have for transferring, it’s not too late—and it’s easy to do. Attend our Transfer Day to get started!

Penn State Day Open House

This Saturday program offers high school students and their families the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and students. An information fair and presentations from academic programs and other departments provide a wealth of information. The event includes a student-guided campus tour. 

Adult Learner Open House

This evening program is your chance to learn about Penn State Behrend majors and services that may be of particular interest to you, the adult learner. There are many enrollment opportunities for adult learners at Behrend College. The open house is a convenient way to get your education on track.

Student-Guided Tours

Get the inside scoop on Penn State Behrend with a student-guided tour, offered most days throughout the academic year, Monday through Friday, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. During the summer months, tours are offered Monday through Friday, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
