The Pennsylvania chapter of the American Institute of Architects has selected the Federal House project at Penn State Behrend for a 2023 Architectural Excellence Design Award.
Penn State Behrend’s swimming and diving teams defeated Penn State Altoona in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference dual meet on Dec. 2. Tim Compton and Dan Tanaskovic each won four events in the men’s competition. Jadyn Danylko and Marin O’Lone each won four events in the women’s meet.
The Graduate School, in partnership with the Graduate and Professional Student Association and the Graduate School Alumni Society, will host the University’s first Three Minute Thesis competition for the entire graduate student community in the spring 2024 semester.
Penn State Behrend swimmers Tim Compton and Camryn Watters set team records at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invite. Compton won the 200 butterfly and the 200 IM. Watters won the 200 backstroke.

The Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team exited the NCAA Division III tournament with a 2-1 loss to Rochester on Nov. 11. The Lions end their season with a record of 13-5-2.
Several Penn State Behrend students recently completed a two-day immersive service project, which included a partnership with the Our West Bayfront community group. “I can’t wait to do it again,” one said.
