Behrend athletic teams open fall season with victories

The men’s soccer team at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College, won the Herb Lauffer Soccer Tournament with a 1-0 victory over SUNY Geneseo. The college’s golf, volleyball, tennis, cross country and water polo teams also were in action last week. Here are the highlights.
