Biography
Sriracha is our resident therapy dog and an important part of our counseling team. As a golden retriever, he’s known for his calm, friendly demeanor—and he’s especially loved by students navigating the challenges of college life.
Certified through Therapy Dogs United, Sriracha is trained to provide emotional support during individual and group counseling sessions. Whether students are dealing with academic stress, anxiety, sadness, or simply need a quiet moment of connection, Sriracha offers a soothing presence and unconditional support.
Students often find comfort in Sriracha’s ability to be fully present—no judgment, just a wagging tail and a warm heart. He’s always happy to sit beside you, lean in for pets, or nap nearby during a session. Sriracha’s presence is a gentle reminder that you’re never alone—and sometimes, healing begins with a furry friend by your side.
His owner is Nicole Lowry, a counselor at the center.
