Founder's Day at 75

It’s our people gathered here–and many more–who make Behrend such a great place. Thanks to the 230+ members of the Behrend team who gathered in the new Erie Hall on Penn State Behrend’s Founder’s Day to mark our milestone in person—literally. Watch the photo come together.

Behrend, Then and Now

From its start with just 146 students in 1948, Penn State Behrend has become one of the largest Penn State campuses. Though much has changed since the first students began their education at what was then the Behrend Center, a dedication to the land-grant mission of the University remains.
