Visit Penn State Behrend

The best way to learn about a college is to visit. Penn State Behrend offers several ways for you to see our beautiful campus any time of year. For information on getting to campus, places to stay while you're here, and the Erie region, check out the links on the right. If you visit us before you apply for admission, we will waive your application fee, although we can’t refund any fees that you’ve already paid.

To register for any of the visit options below, use our online system, call the Admissions Office at 814-898-6100 or toll-free at 866-374-3378, or send us an email.

Get to Know Us

Just starting your college search? Never visited our campus before? Get to Know Us by attending this general information session and a campus tour. During the academic year, these sessions are offered on select Fridays and school holidays. The visit includes a presentation given by an admissions counselor and a campus tour given by one of our current students. If you'd like to try the food on campus, lunch is on us! Stop by the Admissions Office for a free dining hall pass either before or after your visit.

Individual Appointments

Individual appointments with an admissions counselor can be scheduled for Monday through Friday throughout the year. The appointment will include a campus tour with a current student.

To arrange a meeting with a financial aid representative, a faculty member, the veteran's benefits coordinator, or the Office of Adult Learner Services, call 814-898-6100 or email Behrend Admissions.

Students interested in meeting with an athletic coach should contact the coach directly, fill out a prospective student-athlete form, or call 814-898-6163.

Students at convocation

Thinking about transferring? Sometimes, it’s a matter of wanting an academic program your school doesn’t offer. Other times, it can simply be that the school you’re attending doesn’t feel like the right fit. No matter what reason you might have for transferring, it’s not too late—and it’s easy to do.

Individual appointments with an admissions counselor can be scheduled Monday through Friday throughout the year.

Virtual Tour

Sometimes your schedule or distance from campus makes a visit difficult. In that case, check out our virtual tour.
