BCF11 Faculty Compensation for Mentoring of Summer Undergraduate Research Students Supported through Undergraduate Research Awards

  • Faculty members mentoring undergraduate students during the summer will receive $200 per student, provided no faculty salary is related to the efforts.
  • Co-mentors will share $200 per student.
  • Maximum of $1,200 per faculty member.
  • To be eligible under these guidelines, students must be part of a funded research project.
  • This guideline does not pertain to mentoring of funded-student projects during the fall-spring academic year.
  • Students are not required to register for credit.
  • Funds will be placed in the faculty member's scholarly activity fund.
