Penn State celebrated the accomplishments of graduates during its spring 2021 commencement ceremonies May 7 through May 9. This spring the University awarded approximately 14,400 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing associate, baccalaureate, master, law, doctoral and medical degrees. All figures listed are estimates as of April 5; totals do not include the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Graduate Makayla Brown-Paul hugged her family after Penn State Lehigh Valley's annual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 8 held at the Lehigh Valley campus. The campus awarded associate and bachelor’s degrees to 72 students. The featured speaker for the event was Dr. Suresh Nair, physician-in-chief of Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute (class of 1982). A member of the Class of 2021, Nguyen earned a bachelor of science in biology degree with the Genetic and Developmental Biology option. During her time as a student at the York campus, Nguyen was part of the honors program, served as a teaching assistant in cell biology, worked as an EMT for West York Ambulance, and her goal is to attend physician assistant school. This is the first in-person commencement since fall 2019 and the first time for the ceremony to take place off campus. The ballpark is home to the York Revolution, a member of the Atlantic League of professional baseball.
