More than 350 students attended Penn State Behrend's 2022 Discovery Fair, which showcased the college's clubs and service organizations.
Penn State Behrend is home to more than 140 student organizations, including a robotics club, a 3D printing club and esports teams.
The Discovery Fair paired two existing programs -- the Club Showcase and the Leadership and Service Fair -- to better show students the full scope of extracurricular offerings at Penn State Behrend.
“Engagement looks different for different students,” said Ashley Kaminski, coordinator of Student Leadership and Involvement. “Some are looking for social opportunities. Others are interested in service. By combining these two events, we’re able to show students all of the options that we have at Behrend.”
The Discovery Fair at Penn State Behrend is a showcase for the college's clubs and service organizations, which include the Lion Entertainment Board, Reality Check and the Random Acts of Kindness Club.
“Extracurricular involvement helps students become part of the Behrend community,” said Kris Motta Torok, director of Student Leadership and Involvement. “It helps them make friends and more fully explore their interests outside of class.”
