The Young People's Chorus of Erie will hold open rehearsals later this month for its 2017-18 season. Open rehearsals give young people between the ages of 7–18 the opportunity to attend a rehearsal, meet the staff and learn about YPC Erie.
Nearly 500 people viewed the solar eclipse at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, on Aug. 21. The School of Science set up three telescopes at the west edge of campus for the event, which was open to the public.
