Penn State Behrend recognized more than 150 students for excellence in scholastic achievement and campus engagement at the college’s Honors and Awards Convocation.
In 2026, Penn State Behrend students traveled to Roaring River State Park in Missouri for an Alternative Spring Break focused on trail maintenance and conservation. Through hands-on work—clearing brush, repairing paths, and preserving natural areas—students supported one of the state’s most visited parks while also exploring the Ozark landscape through hiking, fishing, and group activities.
Penn State Behrend’s STEAM Fair offered more than 100 learning stations, including a locomotive simulator, virtual-reality immersions and a TV green-screen. More than 1,400 people attended the event.
A new 16-month degree program at Penn State Behrend will fast-track a career change for college graduates who want to work in nursing. Classes begin in the fall of 2026.
