Yuanheng (Arthur) Wang, ELSIE Graduate Teaching Assistant, is a recent graduate with honors from Penn State Behrend and is now a graduate student in Applied Linguistics at Columbia University in New York City. He is a staff member of the 2018 English Language Summer Institute in Erie.

Students in Dr. Mary Beth Pinto’s MKTG 344 Buyer Behavior class competed to create guerrilla marketing plans for Sprint. The winning team, “We’ve Got You Covered,”— Shelby Lunz, Becker Nezballa, Nicole Krahe, and Britnee Terrill—are pictured with Pinto and Marc Nachman, regional president for Sprint.
Larry V. Smith, shown with his wife, Kathryn, was a longtime supporter of Penn State Behrend. The couple funded construction of the Larry and Kathryn Smith Chapel. They also funded scholarships and donated property to the college.
