The Penn State Alumni Association–Lake Erie Chapter (PSAA-LEC) is dedicated to bringing the true Penn State experience to western Pennsylvania. Through fun and meaningful events, the chapter raises scholarship funds that directly support deserving students from Erie, Crawford, and Venango Counties—helping the next generation of Penn Staters succeed.

Chapter activities include:
- Annual summer BBQ with prominent speakers (Drew Astorino was the 2025 speaker)
- Annual golf scramble
- Football TV-watching parties at 12th Street Pub (4040 West 12th Street)
- Chapter night at a SeaWolves baseball game, Otters hockey match, and BayHawks basketball game
- Reserved seats at selected Behrend Speaker Series programs
