Biography
Dr. David H. Kahl Jr. is a professor of communication at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He received a B.A. in economics from Concordia College, MN, and a Ph.D. in communication from North Dakota State University. Because of his interests in pedagogy and learning, he conducts research in the areas of communication education, instructional communication, and critical communication pedagogy.
Dr. Kahl has published articles in regional, national, and international journals, and seeks to apply his research to his teaching. Dr. Kahl has presented his research at a variety of conferences, and has received awards for his work at both the regional and national levels.
