In 2024, the founding members of the Behrend Black Leadership Alumni Coalition (BBLAC) signed an endowment for the BBLAC Award for Student Leaders at Penn State Behrend. Consideration for this award is given to undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State Behrend who embody the mission of BBLAC. Prior to the endowment, BBLAC awarded an annual award to student leaders. This endowment means that Behrend student leaders will be able to receive this recognition in perpetuity.
