Chris Krahe

Chris Krahe is the senior director of global strategy at S&P Global Ratings. In his role, Chris oversees strategy development and execution for a $3.5 billion business and works closely with the president and executive committee. In prior roles at S&P Global, Chris has led large multi-million-dollar investment programs, business transformation initiatives, and large-scale technology product developments, and has been a credit analyst, credit ratings criteria author, and credit model developer.

Prior to S&P Global, Chris worked as a consultant in Pittsburgh. He has a master of public policy from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of science in economics, math, and business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. An Erie native, Chris lived in Erie until after undergraduate and moved back in 2020 after living in downtown Chicago for 13 years. 

The 2024–25 academic year is Chris’s first year as an Executive in Residence, and he will be working closely with the Finance program.
