Jeremy O'Mard

Jeremy O'Mard, a senior managing consultant in the Hybrid Cloud Management Practice at IBM Consulting. With over a decade of experience, Jeremy is well-versed in technical operations, system administration, and application security for commercial, state, and federal organizations.

Outside of IBM, Jeremy is a major in the Maryland Defense Force and commander of the 256th Cyber Defense Unit. He is also the founder and CEO of O'Mard Consulting Services, LLC, where he uses his expertise to help clients create a safer digital experience.

Jeremy graduated from Penn State Behrend in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management. During his collegiate and professional careers, Jeremy has held many leadership positions in both professional and social organizations. Currently, he serves as treasurer of the Behrend Black Leadership Alumni Coalition and is the president of the D.C. Chapter of the Penn State African American Alumni Organization. He also received the 2021 Penn State Alumni Achievement Award.

Jeremy joined the Executive in Residence program in the 2021-22 academic year and works closely with the Management Information Systems program.
